We went to The Onion to celebrate my birthday. It was a family dinner with 5 adults and 2 babies. We were seated right away and had high chairs reserved for the babies. We had a really enjoyable dinner and everyone's food was great. We had the colossal onion rings and the bacon stuffed tater tots for starters. And I had a Kraken Bloody Mary that was crazy! It had bacon, onion ring, chicken tender, shrimp, pickle, asparagus! Check out my photo! For dinner I had the Pier 51 sampler- jumbo prawns, cod and halibut with fries and coleslaw all were very good, large portions. My son had the monte cristo sandwich. It looked so yummy. For my birthday I got a free dessert. It was HUGE! I e. Ream, hot fudge, cotton candy, birthday cake and a giant sucker. We all dug into it with our own spoons. It was fun. Service was friendly and we got our food pretty quickly. Nice family restaurant to visit. I would go back again. Oh... this was the north location on Division.

This is a fantastic restaurant! My wife and I were going to a show close to this restaurant, and we stopped by before our show. The service was incredible, and the food was delightful! The location is perfect, and it is so comfortable, classy, and clean! This place was so amazing we went back after the show for drinks at te bar highly recommended!!

There were quite a few options from which to choose, and-- being with a mixed crowd (co-workers), it seemed that everyone could find something they enjoyed eating. The Olympics happened to be occurring, so the "sports bar" atmosphere and multiple TV screens gave us each some events about which we could comment and speak. The waiter was funny and service was good. I'd eat here again.

So many taps! I love getting a flight here. The food is fresh and flavorful consisting of house made sauces, wild caught seafood, local beef + more. The large menu truly has something for everyone. Service is wonderful; the staff make it feel like you're dining at home. The Onion is a solid option whether you're visiting the north Spokane or downtown location.
